‘Happy Australian’ is a series of 10 ceramic portraits inspired by submissions from people who designed their ultimate ‘Australian Eleganza Extravaganza’ outfit for the happiest occasion of their lives.

As I reflected, "What we wear shapes our identity. Our clothing affects our mood, and wearing your best outfit naturally brings happiness." Asking people to design fashion allowed them to share deeply personal stories.

I incorporated elements from their designs and narratives into each portrait, while also adding my own interpretation and imagination, creating a unique blend of their experiences and my artistic vision.
