Diverse Dominion Deities reflects the strength, unity, and growth that come from embracing diversity. The four mythical creatures represent cultural, racial, gender, and cognitive diversity, serving as vessels for the deities and highlighting the fragility of diversity in Australia.

I used mass-produced ceramic animals, coated in white spray paint, and adorned them with hand-painted porcelain flowers, attached with Blu-Tack. The deities, made from air-dry clay, symbolise a fusion of commercial products, high art, and hobbies—an allegory for cultural diversity.

The porcelain flowers form a vibrant garden, showing how diverse identities can flourish together. The Blu-Tack, however, emphasises the delicate nature of cross-cultural bonds, requiring ongoing care. Visible Blu-Tack represents the complexities of cultural integration, acknowledging that while not all aspects fit seamlessly, with effort, harmony can be achieved.
