Roop Rote Ruang 2008

4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art, Sydney
Dinner dates 11, 12, 19, 21 June 2008

I led the 'Roop-Rote-Ruang (Taste-Touch-Tell)' project through a series of intimate dinner parties in Sydney, where I prepared a four-course Thai meal and designed a 105-piece ceramic dinner set. As guests enjoyed each course, I shared personal stories of my journey from Thailand to Australia.

The project explored how ceramics can enrich the dining experience, drawing from the Buddhist concept of āyatana. Engaging all six senses, guests were immersed in a deeply personal and sensory journey.
