The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) has acquired "Beneath The Tree of Love,"by Vipoo Srivilasa, made possible through the generous support of the Rob Gould Foundation.

"Beneath The Tree of Love" is a tribute to love, commitment, and companionship. Drawing inspiration from the cherished ceramic sculpture "The Music Lesson" from the Chelsea Porcelain Factory, housed in the NGV collection, Vipoo blends classical styles with a contemporary touch.

The work captures the intimate bond between two people and their pet, symbolizing unity and harmony within a loving relationship. Vipoo aims to evoke feelings of warmth and happiness, celebrating the timeless and universal nature of love through this work.
