Have You Eaten? 2020-2021

This collaborative project brings together my ceramic practice with the mixed media art of Sai-Wai Foo in a joyful and poignant celebration of food, friendship, culture, and solidarity.

Both Foo and I explore themes of cross-cultural experiences, migration, and identity in our respective practices, with a shared passion for participation and community exchange. 'Have You Eaten?' embraces our personal and cultural fascination with food—its role in nourishment, love, and social connection. We invite audiences to reflect on the centrality of food in diasporic identity and relationships, and its power to foster intercultural understanding, empathy, and compassion.
