Vipoo Srivilasa’s first solo exhibition in Perth, Flower Bear Deity, will be held at Fremantle Art Centre.
This exhibition is part of IOTA24: Codes in Parallel, where he is one of the lead artists. The Triennial celebrates contemporary artists and artisans from the Indian Ocean region, showcasing innovative interpretations of traditional craft practices.
Flower Bear Deity explores symbolic meanings through a blend of traditional and modern techniques, bridging the gap between past and present while weaving personal expression with universal themes. Each piece highlights the complexity and richness embedded within contemporary craft.
