Indian Ocean Craft Triennial (IOTA) Invitation

Srivilasa has been invited to present the interactive art exhibition Flower Bear Deity at the Fremantle Arts Centre as the lead artist for IOTA24. The exhibition will run from 16 August to 20 October 2024.

The Indian Ocean Triennial Australia (IOTA) is a not-for-profit arts organisation based in Perth, Western Australia. It presents the Indian Ocean Craft Triennial every three years, featuring a major international exhibition, a conference, a large satellite festival, and various other events and activities.

IOTA24 will activate the WA community with over 70 exhibitions in a community-led festival program themed 'Codes in Parallel,' connecting communities through a celebration of craft, culture, and collaboration. The much-anticipated Indian Ocean Craft Triennial opens in August 2024 for three months in Western Australia, reflecting on craft as a universal language.
