Hungry Ghost - SOLO Exhtibion

“The year 2021 was the year that I had lost many friends.

Making the Hungry Ghost series is a way for me to understand the lost and see death in a positive way.

In Thailand, we believe in spirit and ghosts. I try to imagine what they look like if they are happy.

The series led me to discover cultures that celebrate death including The Day of the Dead in Mexico and many fascinating stories of Oni (demons) and Yurei (ghosts) in Japan.”
