As an artist based in Melbourne, a city that endured one of the world’s longest and toughest Covid-19 lockdown restrictions, Srivilasa had first-hand experience of missing the close companionship of friends and family.

Always Better Together was developed in post-pandemic times as the artist came to terms with the realisation that for some, the effects of social isolation had been brushed to the peripheries of their mind.  Yet for others, the lockdown experience was, and continues to have a profound ongoing emotional impact.
